Kofta With Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 lb. of fine ground beef (10% fat) Or Lamb
- 2 large red onions chopped
- 1/2 parsley bunch chopped
- 4 Medium size sliced tomatoes
- 4 Medium size sliced potatoes
- 2 teaspoons of 7-spices
- 1-2 teaspoons of salt (or to taste)
- One can of tomato sauce
Directions
- To a food processor add the chopped onions and parsley, mince for few minutes and drain the liquid.
- Mix the minced onions and parsley with the ground beef. Add salt and spices and mix all ingredients well together and make into meatballs.
- In a baking pan, arrange the tomatoes and potatoes slices between the meatballs.
- Add one cup of water to the tomato sauce, mix it thoroughly and pour it on top of the ingredients in the pan.
- Serve hot.
