Musakhan Rolls

Ingredients
- 3 pounds of boneless and skinless chicken thighs and breasts
- 5 large onions, diced
- 5 Lavish bread (also known as Markouk bread), each cut into 4 pieces, Or substitute for flour Tortillas
- 2 tablespoons of sumac
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- salt, black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup of roasted pine seeds
Directions
- Cut the chicken to 1/2 inch cubes.
- In a saucepan, add olive oil, sauté the onions, then add the chicken and sauté. Add the salt and pepper, cover and cook at a medium heat for 30 minutes.
- Remove from heat, drain liquid if any, and add the roasted pine seeds and sumac and mix.
- Put the Markouk bread or tortilla on a baking pan and add the chicken mixture evenly at its center. Roll the bread into a sandwich, and brush its top with olive oil. Repeat for all the bread pieces.
- Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until the rolls become slightly crispy and golden.
- Serve hot.
