  1. Cut the chicken to 1/2 inch cubes.
  2. In a saucepan, add olive oil, sauté the onions, then add the chicken and sauté. Add the salt and pepper, cover and cook at a medium heat for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, drain liquid if any, and add the roasted pine seeds and sumac and mix.
  4. Put the Markouk bread or tortilla on a baking pan and add the chicken mixture evenly at its center. Roll the bread into a sandwich, and brush its top with olive oil. Repeat for all the bread pieces.
  5. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until the rolls become slightly crispy and golden.
  6. Serve hot.
